Frequently Asked Questions
How do I make an AI portal video?
To make an AI portal video, upload one clear photo to VidHero's AI Portal Video Generator, pick a preset such as Space portal or Fantasy forest, and download a short HD video ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. No editing skills or prompts required.
Will the portal video still look like me?
Yes. The AI keeps your face shape, features, skin tone and age recognizable and only changes the scene, style and motion. A clear, front-facing photo gives the most faithful result.
Which portal styles can I choose?
Pick one of the 6 scene ideas — Space portal, Fantasy forest, Future city, Underwater and more — or type your own. Leave it blank and the AI uses "Space portal".
What kind of photo works best?
Use a clear photo with the subject centered — camera moves work best with space around them. Avoid heavy filters, very dark shots and blurry images.
How long is the video?
Each video is a 6-second cinematic clip — one continuous shot built for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
How many credits does it cost?
Each video costs 5 credits. Plans start at $9/month for 100 credits on the VidHero pricing page, and credits refresh every billing cycle.
Can I download the video?
Yes — every generated video can be downloaded as an MP4 file and shared on TikTok, Instagram, or anywhere you want.
Can I post it on TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts?
